MY PHOTOS FOR THE DAY - OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE

From Lake Orion in Michigan, we first drove to Cincinnati during the road trip. It was night by the time we reached Cincinnati. We were famished not having eaten for hours. My son suggested the Outback Steakhouse as we were passing by some restaurants which was a great choice. I forgot the names of the food we ordered. I chose salmon with vegetables, my daughter had salad with chicken and green apples and my son had burger. And my husband...well, he was driving and didn't want to feel sleepy so, he just tasted a little bit of everything we were having. The food was great and I would love to  dine at Outback Steakhouse when I visit U.S. again. 

RAINFOREST CAFE AT GREAT LAKES CROSSING OUTLETS MALL IN MICHIGAN

Our son had taken us to the Great Lakes Crossing outlets mall located at 4000 Baldwin Road, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. It has 180 stores and restaurants. We visited the Rainforest Cafe at the mall, which is an interesting place to shop and dine. The decor and ambiance is amazing. The shop and cafe makes you feel as if you are standing in a tropical rain forest region with waterfalls, lush vegetation, trees, and exotic creatures all around.  There is a nice aquarium too with beautiful fishes.  I was surprised by a loud roaring sound and right behind me was a size huge green alligator that looked so real and it was raising it's body and opening it's mouth wide and moving it's tail.  Both children and adults would truly enjoy this place. VALENTINE'S DAY AT TAAL RESTAURANT

On Thursday 14 February for Valentine's day, my husband took me to Taal Restaurant in Bidaa for dinner. They have introduced a new menu recently. The food and service was wonderful. We really liked the ambiance at Taal. They had decorated the place with red hearts hanging from the ceiling and heart shaped balloons were placed at the windows of every table. It was a candle lit dinner. There was live music by HUE and the lead guitarist sang beautiful songs which we enjoyed so much. At the end of our dinner, we were given a surprise by Taal. They gave us a complimentary heart shaped cake and a red carnation for me. This was given to all the couples who dined there on that day. 

We had a great time. A big thank you to my wonderful husband and Taal for making our day so special.

ZIZZI RISTORANTE - ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN BIRMINGHAM

The Mail Box is a beautiful Mall located in the heart of Birmingham city center. Among a variety of restaurants at the Mail Box, is a lovely Italian restaurant, 'Zizzi Ristorante'.  It's one of my daughter's favourite restaurants she likes to frequent with her friends.  Last month, our daughter took us to Zizzi twice. And both times, I had lasagna prepared to perfection served with green salad. The lasagna was amazing. Here are some photos taken during our first visit to Zizzi.
