H&M WINDOW DISPLAY

While I was at the Grand Avenues, I passed by the H&M store and I really liked their new window display of denim wear. 

AMAZING VARIETY OF SWEETS DURING RAMADAN

Though I write posts and articles on eating healthy, deep inside I am lover of sweets. All the supermarkets, hypermarkets and bakeries have an big variety of freshly made traditional sweets during Ramadan. What a visual delight!. Visual...that's a restriction I have to follow.  I did buy a few of my personal favorites though.  Would have loved to buy more, and its just the two of us - my husband and I, and too many sweets is definitely not good for us.  And if we buy in plenty, we are bound to eat it so we are trying to exercise restraint.  Here are photos of sweets displayed at City Centre. My all time favorite is kanaafa. 

Gc WATCHES

I was at Grand Avenues last week and noticed Gc watches for women. I've put up photos I took of two watches for ladies that  looked simple yet elegant. The gold is around 120 K.D and the rose gold one is around 170 K.D.

Gc brand of watches for men and women was founded by Paul Marciano in 1997. He is also the founder of the GUESS fashion and lifestyle brand. The shop I went to, didn't have all the Gc pieces. The Gc website has a beautiful collection. Click below to view.

KROHN CONSERVATORY - GIFT SHOP

If you pay a visit to the Krohn Conservatory, you shouldn't leave the place, without visiting their Gift Shop at the exit. They have lovely gift items you would want to take home or gift someone special. Here are some photos I took at the gift shop.

SOMERSET COLLECTION, A MUST VISIT BEAUTIFUL MALL IN MICHIGAN

Somerset Collection is an upscale super regional shopping mall located on 2800 West Beaver Road, Troy, in Michigan. It's a beautiful mall, with splendid architecture. It has 180 plus shops and great restaurants. If you happen to visit Michigan, and you want to do some shopping, this is a must visit shopping mall. My daughter bought lovely sandals, shoes and  artificial jewelry for herself. I picked up a few intricate jewelry as well. My son took us to J. Alexander for lunch and we enjoyed the food. Now that's a restaurant worth visiting.

MY PHOTO FOR THE DAY - TOP SHOP

I was at Top Shop in Avenues and besides the ongoing sale, what caught my attention was the resting mannequins in a lying down position on slanting support. Artistic displays and shop decors are an important feature and customers enjoy innovative and interesting ideas which makes shopping a pleasant experience. 

BALMAIN WATCHES AT BEHBEHANI SHOWROOM

When I dropped into Behbehani showroom for watches at the Marina Mall a week ago, I was looking at many of their watches. And what I really liked was their Balmain watch collection. They  are simple and so elegant.  Here are some photos. I am not sure about other thier brand watches but they are offering a good discount for Balmain watches. 

Available in gold and rose gold. Both look really elegant
